Si una cosa nos ha dejado claro Netflix en los últimos meses es que Alejandro Speitzer, es una de sus apuestas del momento. Sus dotes interpretativas han sorprendido en España a propios y extraños y cada vez son más quienes se preguntan quién es este actor mexicano de 25 años ha conquistado el corazón de Ester Expósito , la madrileña de 20 años, estrella de «Élite». Álex como se hace llamar, no es nuevo en la pantalla. De hecho, lleva desde los 5 años actuando en el teatro, la televisión y el cine. Con nostalgia me remonte a mis inicios, a estos 20 años de esfuerzo, de sueños por cumplir, de dedicación, de días difíciles... al final supe que todo ha valido la pena. Por un lado, me encontré con los “veteranos” del elenco interesados en los jóvenes del equipo, en nuestras carreras, en hacernos sentir fuertes en el set y dispuestos a jugar el juego con nosotros, desprendidos de cualquier tipo de ego. Cómo olvidar el día que en maquillaje y poco antes de ir al set, Carmen Maura me hizo olvidarme del nerviosismo cuando me dijo “Esto no es para tomárselo tan en serio”. Y que les digo de los “jóvenes” ; por un lado Ester, que con ese talento no hubo día que compartiera el set con ella en el que no me preguntara; si ahora construye personajes con tal verdad, fuerza y profundidad, de qué será capaz en unos años... Por otro lado Carlos, que para mi es de esos actores “completos” , que no se queda en una zona de “confort” por el gran talento que tiene, sino que se lo “curra” como dirían en España, el tipo trabaja, estudia, propone. Y por último Isaac Hernández, uno de los mejores bailarines de ballet del mundo, que con una valentía y un arrojo absoluto, consiguió conectar con cada uno de nosotros aportándole a la historia esa frescura que redondea el resultado final. Infinitas gracias a cada uno de ustedes por haberme hecho crecer, por compartirme que la grandeza no solo es el talento, sino el compañerismo, la humildad, la dedicación... Par aquel entonces, el actor se encontraba saliendo con Minnie West, actriz mexicana de 26 años, pero su relación no duró mucho debido a que rápidamente el actor se mudó oficialmente a España para grabar la serie.
