En el 2011 y embarazada de su primer hijo, la presentadora lanzó una colección de ropa llamada «MetalHead». «Después de vivir intensamente el mundo del rock desde hace veinte años, Pilar Rubio ha querido trasladar su amor por la música y su devoción por el diseño», explicaba en su web. «Es un proyecto muy mío, todo lo hago yo, todo lo diseño yo, la parte creativa la llevo yo y me lleva todo el tiempo del mundo.
